Bells Supermarket

Started in Buffalo in 1954, Bells was pioneering in no-name merchandise, the creators (and subsequent scapegoats) of the Whammy Weenie, and was one of the "Big Three" supermarkets in a 70's and 80's landscape that also included Super Duper and Tops Friendly Markets.  Bells dried up, rather abruptly, in 1993.
